Single Player Campaign For Star Wars Battlefront 2 Confirmed

The first game in the reboot of the critically acclaimed franchise performed poorly among fans and critics. It seems that EA and DICE are taking a lesson from it while making the sequel. Star Wars Battlefront 2 which is currently in development at DICE, Criterion and Motive is scheduled for 2017 release.

In a recent Financial Earnings Conference Call, EA revealed some information regarding the sequel. According to CEO, Andrew Wilson, the game will offer “new ways to play” including a dedicated single player campaign.

The sequel is being described as bigger than its predecessor and features multiple eras to explore.

Battlefront 2’s release will align with the release of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi this year.
