For Honor Guide: How To Use Parry

Ubisoft’s action fighting game, For Honor, released in Feb 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It can be played in third person perspective. The player gets to play knights, samurais and vikings as the the game is set in a medieval fantasy setting. The game is played from a third-person perspective. There are three characters that can play, The Legion, The Chosen and The Warborn. This guide shows you how to use Parry in For Honor.

It is critical knowing how to use parry in the game to survive out there. Parry drains the stamina of the opponent allowing you to gain an upper hand in battles.

How To Use Parry in For Honor

  • Do not confuse parrying with blocking as both these actions are vastly different in the game. Blocking merely reduces the damage dealt to you while parrying drains the opponent’s stamina as well.
  • Lock onto the target with the left trigger and get in stance with your opponent. Match your opponent’s attack using the block symbol at the bottom of the screen. Hit the RT or R2 button as soon as your opponent attacks.
  • With this, you have successfully parried your opponent’s attack. Keep changing your stance often to avoid getting parried by your opponent. Master this technique and you will have no problem in defeating your opponents.
