There are 2 options.

Factory Reset

The ultimate solution would be do a factory reset. This would however require you to backup all your data before you do a reset. But this worked for us as factory reset start the installation. But then let me tell you a less troublesome option which can be tried first.

Clear Cache Partition

To clear the cache partition on the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6:

  • Turn off your Galaxy S5/ Galaxy S6
  • Press and hold Home + Power + Volume-Down buttons until your device starts
  • As soon as you see the Samsung logo, release the buttons
  • Tap on the Volume Down repetitively. This will Wipe Cache Partition.
  • Select it with the power button.
  • Then Select Yes.
  • Once it is completes, restart your Galaxy S5/ Galaxy S6
