This game was released on 13 Sep 2016 for Xbox One and PC. An action adventure shooter game, it features different robots with the protagonist being Joule along with her robotic companions who aid her in combat and puzzle solving. Recore also features upgrade tiers with attack and defense categories. The player must collect blueprints and materials to access and unlock these upgrades.
This game has an interesting new activity which the player can do to take a breather from the taxing campaign mode. It is called the hunting challenges. They are specific to each corebot type though it is not necessary to have that corebot companion type with you. These include defeating enemy corebots of a certain type or through a certain way or a combination of both. The rewards include a full blueprint set of the hunted corebot type.
