Developed by The Coalition and published by Microsoft Studios, Gears Of War 4 is the fifth installment in the Gears Of War franchise despite the title. It is the first entry to not be developed by Epic Games. The game is a third-person shooter game and it is currently available for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. It was released on 11 October 2016.
There are several bosses the player encounters in the single player version of the game. Each one has its own set of strengths and weaknesses. Even the smallest and weakest of the bosses can prove difficult to handle if you are not knowing how to deal with it.
This guide will show how to defeat the boss – Hive Beast.
Gears Of War 4 Boss Fight Hive Beast
This boss appears in Act 5, Chapter 4 and is the final boss in the game. Use your Buzzkill to hit the boss’ tentacles. Focus on one tentacle at a time. After you deal critical damage to it, charge in and perform an execution. The boss does have the ability to regenerate its tentacles though.
You need to prevent this. Call in air support and strike the area where the tentacles grow. You need to destroy all tentacles and not let them regenerate to finish this battle.
Once all tentacles are taken care of, charge in to the boss and use your spin blades to avoid the projectiles. Press Y to cut through its arm. Do the same for the other arms and finally, hit its head to finish this boss battle.
