Publisher Nordic Games has announced through their website that the original Darksiders is getting the Remaster treatment. This Darksiders Remaster, officially titled Darksiders Warmastered Edition, is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and, surprisingly, Wii U.
The remaster features native 1080p on all consoles, and 60 frames per second everywhere except the Wii U, where it’ll run at 30FPS. It’ll release October 25 for a budget $20.
Darksiders is developed by Vigil Games, and was originally published by THQ but is now owned by Nordic Games after THQ went bankrupt. It has a fantastic sequel, Darksiders II, which would also be great for a remaster. Most gamers agree it’s better than the first game.
