Fortnite Guide: Tips and Tricks

Here are some of the tips.

SCAVENGING

You can never have too many supplies in this game. But you can hold onto only 999 of the basic basic building supplies at max. Stock up as much as you can. To get more supplies, complete missions like Ride The Storm as these missions don’t have a timer so you can pick up a lot of stuff before you finish it.

BUILDING

You will come across blueprints for radar towers which can be completed by the build system. You will need specific materials to build it. Once the tower is completed, activate the radar at the top using BlueGlo to unlock various points of interest in the map. You can also build other things like walls via the same method. For example, you can press G on PC when building a wall and remove the middle two blocks to create a door in the wall. There are many variations you can use so experiment with them all.

TREASURE CHESTS

You can hear an angelic-sound marking the location of a nearby treasure chest so make sure to find as many as you can. You can get new schematics, XP and other useful items and crafting materials.

TRACK ITEMS

Open up the inventory and find the item you want to track in the crafting menu. Click TRACK on it. This will cause it to display in your screen’s bottom-left corner which will help you find the supplies you need to craft that item. Keep an eye on the icon and you will be alerted when a required material is in the area.

COLLECTION BOOK

Don’t retire heroes if you have extra. New upgrades can be unlocked by unlocking a specific skill in the Tier 1 tree and then add your extra heroes to the Collection Book. It also helps you unlock skill points.
