Halo Wars 2 is set in the fictional universe of the Halo series in the year 2559. The game is the sequel to the 2009 game Halo Wars. This real-time strategy (RTS) game released in February 2017. There are four basic game modes in the game which can be played against AI or against other players. This guide will list them out.
Halo Wars 2 Game Modes
Deathmatch
Standard RTS game mode where you need to defeat all enemy units.
Domination
Destroy the opposing bases or capture control points on the map to reach the maximum score limit.
Strongholds
You need to increase your population by controlling strongholds in the map. The team with the most population at the end of the timer wins.
Blitz
A card-based game mode which is almost same as Domination.
