#1 Crash/CTD/Crash during gameplay issue fix:

Generally this kind of issue occurs when you haven’t updated the video card drivers since a long time. Just do a clean install of your video card drivers, restart your PC and try you launch the game. The issue will be gone.

#2 Can’t play Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen in 21:9 display/super widescreen issue fix:

Unfortunately the game does not support 21:9 displays. So you may to wait for an official patch from Capcom or any third party mod.

#3 Black Screen at startup / D3DERR_DEVICELOST issue in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen fix:

If your game is getting a black screen at startup and getting a “D3DERR_DEVICELOST : getDevice0 – >Reset(&d3dppm)” error, you can fix it using the following two methods.

  • You need to go to the Nvidia Control Panel and add the game executable. Then you have to override the in-game video settings. Then try to launch the game.
  • Another method includes editing of the configuration file. Go to

    Open the config.ini file from there with notepad. Now change Vsync=ON to Vsync=OFF

#7 Infinite loading time after first Chimera fight fix:
