Resident Evil 7 Demo was released early this month for PC and Xbox One. Some PC gamers faced really big issues, in which it prevented them from even starting the game. The new patch is out for the PC version of the demo and it promises to fix all the issue. It brings some visual and performance improvements for the game.
The patch also add support for SSE4.1 functionality. Reports claim that HBAO+ performance has been improved. The other issues have also been resolved.
Game now works on CPUs without SSE4.1 functionality (e.g. AMD Phenom, Intel Core2 series)
